Information pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/03 “Personal Data Protection Code”
WHO ARE WE?
Pursuant to the provisions of Legislative Decree 196/03 “Personal Data Protection Code” (hereinafter “Code”) we hereby provide the information regarding the use by our company of the personal data acquired in relation to the acquisition of personal data by completion of the contact form and/or quote form.

WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS?
The personal data processed will be exclusively the data provided when completing the contact form or quote form.
WHERE DO WE COLLECT DATA?
The data in our possession, provided by completing the form, is collected directly from our computer systems. All data collected will be treated in compliance with current legislation and, in any event, with due confidentiality.
WHY DO WE COLLECT DATA?
We collect or process personal data for the sole purpose of enabling us to answer questions we are asked about both technical and general issues in the best possible way. In particular, in the event of a contact/quote request, the data you send will be transferred to third parties who are retailers of Cavatorta products, who will then contact you via the contact details provided to deal with any requests in the message sent or to provide the requested quote. Data may also be processed for commercial and marketing purposes.
HOW DO WE PROCESS DATA?
In relation to the purposes stated above, personal data is processed using manual, computer and telematic tools with methods closely related to the purposes themselves and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data in compliance with the aforementioned law. The data processed will not be subject to automated decision making including profiling.
FOR HOW LONG DO WE PROCESS DATA?
Processing will last no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data has been collected and in particular to be able to respond to the request for a quote and/or contact.
Providing data is optional. However, such data is necessary to draw up a quote and to fulfil any order. Without consent it is therefore impossible to carry out any activity for the requesting party because it will be impossible for them to be contacted by companies in the Cavatorta group and in particular Metallurgica Abruzzese s.p.a. or Trafileria e Zincheria Cavatorta and authorised resellers of Cavatorta products.
Submitting the form implies that consent is given to process the data contained therein in accordance with the procedures already described in the paragraph above.
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail, or other communications, to the addresses provided on this website results in the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s email address, this is used to provide a response or to supply the services and products, as well as any other personal data included in the communication by the sender. Users are asked to refrain in any event from providing any data that is deemed to be sensitive under art. 4, letter d) of Legislative Decree no. 196/03.
TO WHOM DO WE DISCLOSE YOUR DATA?
Personal data and its processing will be disclosed to third parties, in particular authorised retailers of Cavatorta products for the purpose of carrying out economic and commercial activities, (e.g. responding to quote requests, commercial proposals, announcements of new products), data will not be disclosed other than for these purposes.
Your data may become known to the data controller and the following types of parties in charge of data processing: Operational Managers, General Management, Accounting data processing, Commercial and technical departments.
The data subject may contact the Data Processing Manager at the Data Controller to check their data and have it supplemented, updated or rectified, request its deletion, anonymisation and to revoke consent, to request the transfer of data, lodge a complaint with the Privacy Guarantor and/or to exercise the other rights provided for by art. 7 of the Privacy Code. In particular, the data subject may at any time contact the Data Processing Manager and object to the processing of his/her email details for direct sales or marketing purposes.
